The defining design decision for an agriculture college is the instructional/demonstration farm ICAR expects every accredited college to operate, commonly 10–20+ acres, sitting outside the core academic campus. EROCON plans land strategy for the farm alongside the building brief, designing B.Sc./M.Sc. Agriculture campuses across India as a single, coordinated programme.

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR accreditation norms) and UGC. ICAR-accredited agriculture colleges are expected to operate a substantial instructional/demonstration farm in addition to classroom and lab buildings, the dominant land driver for the school, planned as a peripheral or adjoining parcel.

For an 80 UG / 20 PG annual intake, budget roughly 4,800 sqm gross built-up area for classrooms and labs, the instructional farm is budgeted and sited entirely separately.
What facilities support post-harvest training?
A dedicated Post-Harvest Processing Unit with a grading/sorting line, drying equipment and small cold storage, alongside a Farm Machinery Shed with vehicle access for tractors and repair work.
